So I figured I better share the recipe as long as I was going to be baking them up for myself. Can’t be selfish- right?!
You will LOVE these! The process makes them come out like an awesome biscuit/scone hybrid that is to die for!

- 2 cups wheat flour
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup chilled coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups chilled light coconut milk
- 1-1/2 cups dried cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Combine dry ingredients (through allspice) and mix until evenly combined.
Add coconut oil, vanilla, and coconut milk and mix into dry ingredients using a fork- until evenly mixed.
Add cherries, mix slightly with your hands, then form into 2 – 1 inch thick rounds on your counter. Slice each into 8 wedges.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
